In your style sheet, comment out the line containing the background-color property and value, so you can see the effect of only styling the #menu element. This will make the background white again.

It doesn’t look like you’ve made any changes to the original CSS. You don’t need to repeat the instructions for us. But please explain what you don’t understand about them so we know how to help you.

As you can see, the text " user editable region " inputed as a comment in your submission, that is how you comment in css.
you are asked to make the previous code you inputed , i.e the background-color to be turned into a comment.
It goes thus: / * comment */ . so just input the necessary symbols before and after the the background color attribute and value.
