Learn Basic CSS by Building a Cafe Menu - Step 23

Tell us what’s happening:

I have seemingly the correct code and the prompts are not particularly helpful.
The prompt requires the background to be burlywood which it already is.

Your code so far

<!-- file: index.html -->
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
  <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8" />
    <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0" />
    <title>Cafe Menu</title>
    <link href="styles.css" rel="stylesheet"/>
  </head>
  <body>
    <div id="menu">
      <main>
        <h1>CAMPER CAFE</h1>
        <p>Est. 2020</p>
        <section>
          <h2>Coffee</h2>
        </section>
      </main>
    </div>
  </body>
</html>
/* file: styles.css */
body {
  /*
  background-color: burlywood;
  */
}

h1, h2, p {
  text-align: center;
}

/* User Editable Region */

#menu {
  width: 300px;
}
**#menu {background-color: burlywood;}**

Learn Basic CSS by Building a Cafe Menu - Step 23

Welcome to the community @tom.stedman28 !

The property and value have entered incorrectly and outside the #menu selector.

You may wish to reset the step to clear any failed code and get a fresh start on this step.

Then, only enter the property background-color and its value burlywood as you have done with the width property and its value 300px.

I hope this helps you.

Happy coding! :sun_with_face:
