Tell us what’s happening: I have no idea what im doing wrong, I added the “.footer p{” to target the text but its not working, someone please help!

your footer element doesnt use the . and you shouldn’t use the p tag within the footer

Only Use the
.footer{}
to select the element, no need to use p here only.

hey quick question, why does the footer element not need the “.” like the rest of the selectors?

sorry for late response but the dot is typically used for class elements, in this case I was just moving the footer nothing else

Selectors aren’t strings, they are elements

Did the instrustions tell you to use a multi element selector?

remove the (.) before the footer.
