Challenge: Learn Basic CSS by Building a Cafe Menu - Step 79

Link to the challenge:

missing the closing curly brace for footer in css

Welcome to the forum.

To make the footer links the same color regardless if a link has been visited, use a type selector for the anchor element (a) and use the value black for the color property.

It is asking that the a element has a type selector { } to change the color property to black.

Previously, an h1 element used a type selector to set the font-size property to 40px.

This is the same idea only using the instructions element, property and setting.

I hope this helps.

you mean something like this?
a {color: black;}

Exactly correct. You’ve got this! Happy coding.!
See how you did it in the copied example.
h1 {
font-size: 40px;
}

I try to look at some of my previous coding for examples, and admit to doing this with your coding as well. :slight_smile: It helped me answer your question. :slight_smile:

still the same result, I’m still stucked here. I don’t what else to do.

please explain further, thank you.

If you have made the changes that were suggested by the previous users then please show us your current code so we can see what is going on. When you reply you can use the format button that looks like </> and paste your new code in between the lines it gives you
