Learn Basic JavaScript by Building a Role Playing Game - Step 108

Hi there! You’re on the right way. Here’s the example of the structure of your objects:

{
  name: "value",
  level: value,
  health: value
}

thanks for the feedback.

am i right with this then

const monsters = [
  {name: 'slime'},
  {level: '2'},
  {health: '15'}
]```

Look carefully at the example. Do you see quotation marks on the level or health lines? These values are numbers, not strings
Also check the curly braces

I have updated the quotation marks.
What do you mean by curly braces

const monsters = [
  {name: 'slime'},
  {level: 2},
  {health: 15}
]

Yes, it’s ok with quotation marks.
Well, this is an object with values:

{
  name: "value",
  level: value,
  health: value
}

Are there curly braces within the object, around the properties and values?

ok thanks i think i have it now

const monsters = {
  name: 'slime',
  level: 2,
  health: 15
}```

Yes, that’s correct. So in this step you have to create three objects within your array

how do i create them within the array?

i created the 3 objects

const monsters = {
  name: 'slime',
  level: 2,
  health: 15
}
{
  name: 'fanged beast',
  level: 8,
  health: 60
}
{
  name: 'dragon',
  level: 20,
  health: 300
}

an array has the square brackets [] and items inside them are separated by commas

add the square brackets and the commas

In addition to @ilenia 's instructions, here is the example:

let array = [
  {...},
  {...}
];
