Learn Basic JavaScript by Building a Role Playing Game - Step 119

Tell us what’s happening:

Hello i have to set health to equal health minus the monster’s level, I think I have done it right but i keep getting the error that I should use compound assignment with health .
I think thats what I used, and I have checked if there´s any word I could have written wrong or something like that. I also tried to find the same issue here but the step 119 is different now i think because while I was looking I noticed that every post under step 119 was about the earlier step I did with the attack function.

Your code so far

function attack() {
  text.innerText = "The " + monsters[fighting].name + " attacks.";
  text.innerText += " You attack it with your " + weapons[currentWeapon].name + ".";
  healthText.innerText = health - monsters[fighting].health
}

You will need to take an additional step here so the code you wrote presents in an easy to read format.

Please copy/paste all the editor code showing in the challenge from where you just linked.

Replace these two sentences with your copied code.
Please leave the ``` line above and the ``` line below,
because they allow your code to properly format in the post.

Hi!

  1. You have to set health, not the text of it
  2. Get the value from monsters[fighting].level, not health
  3. Use the assignment operator -=
