  text.innerText = "The " + monsters[fighting].name + " attacks.";
  text.innerText += " You attack it with your " + weapons[currentWeapon].name + ".";
  health -= monsters[fighting].level;
  monsterHealth -= weapons[currentWeapon].power + Math.floor(Math.random() * xp) + 1;

You are only supposed to convert the new if-else statement to ternary and not the other “if-else if” one. So leave this code in there:

if (health <= 0) {
} else if (monsterHealth <= 0) {
   // your ternary code goes here (only convert this part to ternary)
