Learn Basic JavaScript by Building a Role Playing Game - Step 165

Tell us what’s happening:

Hi there, really enjoying this new format of the Javascript course (though i’m a bit sad i have lost all my previous progress on the older curriculum).
I believe I am correctly inputting this line of code, using the appropriate concatenation and spacing. I have tried many combinations of spacing and concatenation (+, +=) to no avail. Help would be greatly appreciated!

function pick(guess) {

    numbers.push(Math.floor(Math.random() * 11));
  }
   text.innerText = "You picked " + guess + " .Here are the random numbers:";

The old curriculum is still there - it’s at the bottom of the courses list

ah awesome! whew, lot of hours there haha.

hey,
I faced the same problem while doing this challenge if i remeber you have to use only 1 + operator to concatenate.

text.innerText = "You picked guess " + ".Here are the random numbers:";

Thanks suleman but your code shouldn’t pass, as guess is not a string but a variable (should not be enclosed in “”).

I solved the problem. My “.” before “Here are…” was in the wrong place!
