Learn Basic JavaScript by Building a Role Playing Game - Step 44

Tell us what’s happening:

i can’t seem to find where the problem is, it keeps telling me “You should update the innerText property within your goStore function”. I just don’t know what is wrong.

Welcome to the community @abdulshakurmahmood !

The error message is a bit misleading.

I can see you have added all of the necessary code.

However, the one for button2 and button 3 have not been entered in the goStore function.

They have been added to the goCave and fightDragon.

Try moving them into the goStore and see what happens.

Wishing you good progress!

it worked, thanks a lot @anon42932716 ! it was starting to give me an headache honestly, but if you don’t mind why did we have to put the rest of the function in the goStore function and not create them separately
