Learn Basic JavaScript by Building a Role Playing Game - Step 59

I give up. been at this over a half hour, wasted. playing around with { , [ and nothing is working. I have both values, properties,objects, arrays, whatever they are, identical to the first, both enclosed in {} and separated by a comma.

"Add a second object to your locations array (remember to separate them with a comma). Following the pattern you used in the first object, create the same properties but use the values from the goStore function. Set the name property to store "

Your code so far

The hint box is very helpful in such cases, I suggest you use it if you want to debug your code. Back to your problem, You have a few mistakes to sort out.

All the code content should be extracted form this function.

function goStore() {
  button1.innerText = "Buy 10 health (10 gold)";
  button2.innerText = "Buy weapon (30 gold)";
  button3.innerText = "Go to town square";
  button1.onclick = buyHealth;
  button2.onclick = buyWeapon;
  button3.onclick = goTown;
  text.innerText = "You enter the store.";
}

And this is your code.

{
     name: store
    "button text": ["Buy 10 health (10 gold)","Buy weapon (30 gold)","Go to town square"]
  ,
    "button functions": [buyHealth, buyWeapon, goTown],
    text: "you enter the store" }

Your object should resembel the first object, this

{
     name: "town square",
    "button text": ["Go to store", "Go to cave", "Fight dragon"],
    "button functions": [goStore, goCave, fightDragon],
    text: "You are in the town square. You see a sign that says \"Store\"."
    }

Chekc for mistakes here:

`name: store`

And here.

`text: "you enter the store"`
