Tell us what’s happening: I am trying to correct the mistake in code but they cant work after adding goldText property to the innerText

function buyWeapon() {

if (gold >= 30) {
gold -= 30;
currentWeapon++;

// Update goldText element with the value of gold
document.getElementById('goldText').innerText = gold;

// Update text element with the message
document.getElementById('text').innerText = "You now have a new weapon";

}
}

Hey @renukachaudhari84
You are on the right track remember you had already asigned the element to avariable goldText and text so there is no need to re asingn them again

Just use

goldText.innerHtml
text.innerHtml

And make sure they are inside the function you have

Happy coding
