Learn Basic String and Array Methods by Building a Music Player - Step 70

Tell us what’s happening:

I’m struggling with the conditional statement, i’ve tried so many things, I don’t know what it should be?

playingSong.textContent = currentTitle === true ? currentTitle : “”;
songArtist.textContent = currentArtist === true ? currentArtist : “”;

Your code so far

<!-- file: index.html -->

/* file: styles.css */

/* file: script.js */
// User Editable Region

 playingSong.textContent = currentTitle  === true ? currentTitle : "";
 songArtist.textContent = currentArtist === true ? currentArtist : "";

// User Editable Region

check if currentTitle evaluates to a truthy value

you do that by just placing it in a boolean environment, which the ternary condition is. So remove the === true part
