Learn Basic String and Array Methods by Building a Music Player

Hi guys, I’m currently on the music player lesson and I have a question regarding the example below.

"
let userData = {
songs: […allSongs],
currentSong: null,
songCurrentTime: 0,

const renderSongs = (array) => {
const songsHTML = array
.map((song)=> {
return `

  • ${song.title}
    ${song.artist}
    ${song.duration}

    "
    The array.map() function uses song as a parameter, but shouldn’t it be “songs” instead of song ? or do we use singular form of “songs” because we’re only accessing one part of “songs” property ?

    Thank you for any input!

    • yeah, thats exactly why its named as such

    happy coding :slight_smile:
