Learn CSS Colors by Building a Set of Colored Markers - Step 11

Tell us what’s happening:

I am working on step 11 of the Learn CSS Colors by Building a Set of Colored Markers. I keep getting an error that I should create a class sector to target the ‘marker’ class (background color:red) but I believe I’ve done that with my code:

.marker {
background-color: red;
}

I keep getting the ‘Code does not pass’ error but this is a simple step and can’t see why I keep getting it and all coding assistants keep providing me the same code as above.
