Challenge: Learn CSS Colors by Building a Set of Colored Markers - Step 14

I think it might help you see the error if you format your HTML a little better:

  <div class="container">
    <div class="marker"></div>
    <div class="marker"></div>
  </div>
  <div class="marker"></div>
  </div>

Do you see the extra closing </div> in there? This is one reason why we format our code. To help us find errors like this.

I’ve done that but it’s still not working

I wasn’t saying that formatting your code properly was the only thing you needed to do to fix this issue. I was saying that formatting your code would make it easier to find your error. You need to fix the error, which is an extra closing </div> tag where it shouldn’t be.
