Learn CSS Colors by Building a Set of Colored Markers - Step 14

My code is 100% correct as there is no other way of doing this challenge but I keep getting the error message " Your first new div element should have an opening tag."

Your code so far

I think each of your opening div tags is missing something at the end of them. Remember, a tag always starts with < and ends with >. You can’t nest tags inside of tags. You can only nest element inside of elements.

The first div element does not have a closing > in its opening tag.

To fix this error, you need to add a closing > to the opening tag of the first div element. Additionally, it looks like you have two nested div elements with the same class name of “marker”.

You may want to remove one of these
