Learn CSS Colors by Building a Set of Colored Markers - Step 14

hi
so I need to add 2 div
In the container div , add two more div elements and give them each a class of marker .
I believe Ive done that. I dont understand how to correctly close this. no matter what I try I get an error message.
for me logically would be to have 4 div closing tags at the bottom but that doesnt work either.
anyone can explain what am I doing wrong?
many thanks

Challenge: Learn CSS Colors by Building a Set of Colored Markers - Step 14

Link to the challenge:

Where are the closing tags for these two?

When i put closing tags I have error message
Your new div elements should be within the div with the class container .

just add 2 divs with marker class, youve nested a marker inside the other marker with no closing tag, and added a third nested inside that, even, with no closing tag. You already have one .marker, so add two more:

(I went back to the lesson to see why you might be confused, and I think part of the confusion is your first marker’s closing tag being on the next line. Add the next two markers AFTER that, not inside of it.)

compared to your code:

@trenhel
I removed part of your post. Please do nit provide code to pass the challenge

Thanks

Nah dude youre removing teaching moments

The answer plus why it’s the answer IS teaching

Its ok if you dont agree with it, but its part of the forum rules. You can teach, but you cant give them the code to solve the challenge

thanks I managed to pass. I understood it at later stage why I had it wrong
