Learn CSS Colors by Building a Set of Colored Markers - Step 14

You appear to have created this post without editing the template. Please edit your post to Tell us what’s happening in your own words.
Learning to describe problems is hard, but it is an important part of learning how to code.
Also, the more you say, the more we can help!

Hello!

You have modified your code. Reset your code.
Then after your <div class="container> add one div opening and closing tag with the class set to marker. Then after that div create another opening and closing div tag with the class set to marker.

>
'''
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
  <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8">
    <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0">
    <title>Colored Markers</title>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="styles.css">
  </head>
  <body>
    <h1>CSS Color Markers</h1>
    '''
<div class="container" <div class="marker" > <div class="marker">
      </div></div>>
      <div class="marker">
      </div>
    </div>

‘’’
here is the code

You have not rapped it in backticks. Backticks look like this: ```
If you are finding it difficult to use the backticks, paste your code here and the select it and click on this button

I’ve edited your code for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (').

Hi @shiva.vaidya

If you make the changes mentioned in the code block, it should take care of the coding errors.

Happy coding
