Tell us what’s happening:

I am unsure what my issue is here within my code. Other questions seem to be answered with my same issue, but the solution appears to be what I have, unless I am missing something. My assumption is a spelling error although it must be so minor (or major) my brain is unable to pick up on it at this point.

Your code is missing the property background

Hello beeistyping,

When you try to run your code the error says:

Your .red CSS rule should have a background property with the value linear-gradient(90deg) .

This basically explains what is missing, I don’t see background anywhere in your code.
