The requirement for media queries came out of nowhere. The (New) Responsive Web Design Certification hasn’t discussed media queries anywhere before this point; I was under the impression that it’s supposed to be a standalone certification for newcomers who have no experience with web development.
Of course, we can hit up a search engine with “Media Queries/How to write Media Queries?” or similar queries, but that’s not something new learners might think about when at such a starting point.
Of course, if it’s by intent and the certification expects students to be pro-active and search for a solution on the forum or the internet, then it’s alright. Still, it would be nice to have a hint about the fact that we are supposed to look it up and see if we can find a solution by ourselves.
that’s great to know. I am currently trying to familiarize myself with Github so didn’t know there was already an issue open for this. I have seen some other unexplained requirements in the latter modules as well, so I will try my best to make sure an issue is already open on Github before making a report for it.
Hopefully, I can contribute in the near future as well.
