Challenge: Learn CSS Variables by Building a City Skyline - Step 23

Link to the challenge:

Please Tell us what’s happening in your own words.

Learning to describe problems is hard, but it is an important part of learning how to code.

Also, the more you say, the more we can help!

.bb2 {
width: 10%;
height: 50%;
background-color: var(–building-color2, fallback-green);
}
As per the instruction I provided the code but its showing error

You might need to reset the challenge, and try again. That was the only way I could get it to pass. However, the fallback part is not correct. You shouldnt have the words fallback- in the code. That was just the way of the challenge letting you know that the value you entered is going to be a fallback. You should just be using “green” without the fallback text. Like I said though, I would reset the challenge once and then make sure you are only using “green”
