Learn CSS Variables by Building a City Skyline - Step 51

Describe your issue in detail here.

I have tried every variation I can come up with, scoured google for syntax but cannot find anything regarding setting a range for linear-gradient, just stops. I have set the stops to 6% (0 to 6%) then the second to 9% (6-9%) but that didnt work I found a sample on this forum using “from 0% to 6%” but that didnt work either. se the snippet below. Can someone tell me if there is a different issue with my code that Im overlooking because I am focused on the range or is it the syntax of the range itsel?

.bb2b {
width: 100%;
height: 100%;
background: linear-gradient(
var(–building-color2) from 0% to 6%,
var(–window-color2) from 6% to 9%
);
}

Challenge: Learn CSS Variables by Building a City Skyline - Step 51

Link to the challenge:

Hello and welcome to the community :smiley:!
You have to show how much percent you want to gradient from and till where. To do that add a second line under your color and repeat that same color again but this time show till how much percent you want to end it which in the case of the first color is 6%.
Ex:

 var(color-one) 0%,
 var(color-one) 6%,

Then for the second color start with the percent you begin with which is 6% and have your ending 9% gradient a line beneath it. It other words you should have four lines of color, the first two for your first colors starting and ending point and you second two lines should contain your seconds color starting and ending point. hope this helps you.
