WARNING

The challenge seed code and/or your solution exceeded the maximum length we can port over from the challenge.

You will need to take an additional step here so the code you wrote presents in an easy to read format.

Please copy/paste all the editor code showing in the challenge from where you just linked.

Replace these two sentences with your copied code.
Please leave the ``` line above and the ``` line below,
because they allow your code to properly format in the post.

Challenge: Learn CSS Variables by Building a City Skyline - Step 77

I’ve edited your code for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.
You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.

Hello, it might be a good idea to look at some of the styles that are already using a linear-gradient in your css for the challenge. For example, this is the linear-gradient for the .bb2b class

background: repeating-linear-gradient(
      var(--building-color2),
      var(--building-color2) 6%,
      var(--window-color2) 6%,
      var(--window-color2) 9%
    );

You would need to follow this structure, but instead of building-color-2 you would use building-color-4 with the correct percentages that the challenge tells you to use. Then instead of window-color-2 you would use transparent with again the correct percentages that the challenge gives you

type or paste code here .fb1c {
  width: 100%;
  height: 80%;
  background: repeating-linear-gradient(90deg, var(--building-color4) 0%, var(--building-color4) 10%, (transparent) 10%, (transparent) 15%);
}

Transparent does not need to be in parentheses ()

still thesame error

type or paste code here.fb1c {
  width: 100%;
  height: 80%;
  background: repeating-linear-gradient(90deg, var(--building-color4) 0%, var(--building-color4) 10%, transparent: 10%, transparent: 15%);

}

Why did you add colons to the transparent?
