Learn CSS Variables by Building a City Skyline - Step 78

I can’t understand why this code is not being accepted. What’s wrong?

.fb1c {
  width: 100%;
  height: 80%;
  background:
    repeating-linear-gradient(
      90deg,
      var(--building-color4),
      var(--building-color4) 10%,
      transparent 10%,
      transparent 15%
    ),
    repeating-linear-gradient(
      90deg,
      var(--building-color4) 0%,
      var(--building-color4) 10%,
      var(--window-color4) 10%,
      var(--window-color4) 90%
    );
}

Hello!
Inadvertently the 90deg has been included in the second one. It should not be there.

Happy coding!

Hello! Thanks for your attention.

I removed it but the problem is still showing up:

It says:

Sorry, your code does not pass. You're getting there.

You should add a `repeating-linear-gradient` with a first color of `--building-color4` from `0%` to `10%`.

This is my new code now:

.fb1c {
  width: 100%;
  height: 80%;
  background:
    repeating-linear-gradient(
      90deg,
      var(--building-color4),
      var(--building-color4) 10%,
      transparent 10%,
      transparent 15%
    )
    repeating-linear-gradient (
      var(--building-color4) 0%,
      var(--building-color4) 10%,
      var(--window-color4) 10%,
      var(--window-color4) 90%
    )

}

Ok weird it worked this time!

.fb1c {
  width: 100%;
  height: 80%;
  background:
    repeating-linear-gradient(
      90deg,
      var(--building-color4),
      var(--building-color4) 10%,
      transparent 10%,
      transparent 15%
    ),
    repeating-linear-gradient (
      var(--building-color4) 0%,
      var(--building-color4) 10%,
      var(--window-color4) 10%,
      var(--window-color4) 90%
    );

}

Thank you all!

Best wishes on your continued success with your coding path. :slight_smile:
