Learn Form Validation by Building a Calorie Counter - Step 40

Tell us what’s happening:

I can’t understand what what i am missing. I read other articles and peoples questions about the same step . Unfortunetely, my code isn’t passing the test My problem so far is : ““You should pass targetId to your querySelector() method.”” . Isn’t that the method i should use? :upside_down_face:

Your code so far

<!-- file: index.html -->

/* file: script.js */
// User Editable Region

function addEntry() {
  const targetId = '#' + entryDropdown.value;
  const targetInputContainer = document.querySelector(`${targetId} .input-container`)
}

// User Editable Region
/* file: styles.css */

Your browser information:

User Agent is: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/127.0.0.0 Safari/537.36

unfortunately they seem to want you to use regular concatenation of strings instead of string literals.
(so switch from backticks and variable interpolation to just plain concatenation with plus signs)

Yeah! That worked. Thanks a lot !
