This is what the console statement is telling me:
Your if statement should use return to end the function execution.
I am using return in my code, what am I doing wrong? Is this a bug?

I don’t understand what this line is for? I don’t think you need it.

Also, you should check the global error flag after you make all the calls to getCaloriesFromInputs.

Looks like you may be missing curly brace.

Fair enough but I usually see all the const at the top of a script.

I’m not sure what you mean, but I don’t think its related to OP’s issue.
