Learn How to Work with Numbers and Strings by Implementing the Luhn Algorithm - Step 20

Tell us what’s happening:

I made the code just as the instructions asked for me to do. But when I try to submit, the hints give me the string that i should use, everithing would be ok if the string that they asked for me to use doesn’t works!

Any help will be apreciated.

Learn How to Work with Numbers and Strings by Implementing the Luhn Algorithm - Step 20

Hi,
you are asked to add digit to the value of sum_of_odd_digits using += inside your for loop. you’ve added it in the wrong place.

@Pegetti The instruction requires you to include the logic inside the provided for-loop. You may also encounter another issue where the data type of digit differs from sum_of_odd_digits, so you need to cast digit from a string to an int before performing the addition.
