Was this supposed to be an h2 element?
Hello. I don’t think h2
element is introduced in step 1. Instruction is all about h1
element.

Yes looks like the user was attempting to modify the h1 element but ended up adding a new line of malformed html.
hello and welcome to fcc forum 
closing tag of any element looks like this : “</tag>”
in your snippet you have an “extra - h” in front of it, remove that it should be fine
also dont forget remove that “given” h1 tag either or replace it with “cat photos” text as instructions says
Find the h1 element and change its text to: CatPhotoApp
