Learn HTML by Building a Cat Photo App - Step 10

Tell us what’s happening:
Hi everyone, I started learning HTML today and have my first bug. I don’t know whats the problem with the a tag.

Your code so far:

<html>
  <body>
    <main>
      <h1>CatPhotoApp</h1>
      <h2>Cat Photos</h2>
      <!-- TODO: Add link to cat photos -->

<!-- User Editable Region -->

      <p>See more cat photos in our gallery.</p>
      <a href:¨https://freecatphotoapp.com¨></a>

<!-- User Editable Region -->

      <img src="https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/cat-photo-app/relaxing-cat.jpg" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back.">
    </main>
  </body>
</html>

Hi there, there are a couple problems here: your attributes must use an = sign not a : inside of HTML like so:

<a href="https://freecatphotoapp.com"></a>

And the other problem, that is a little more rare, is that your double quotes are the Unicode double quotes and not standard double quotes. I’m wondering if you wrote your code in something like Microsoft Word, an email, or something of that nature because they will take standard " like this and turn them into fancy double quotes ¨ (that aren’t valid when used for attributes). Notice the difference between " and ¨ when I post them here.

If you make those two changes, you pass the challenge.
