you should not use spaces between

<a> and </a>

in front of your text or/and after your text.

For example:

<a href="example.com">Example</a>

To turn any text into link it is required to put right format.
Here you just put space your anchor text which is causing the problem.

The right syntax is below .

<a href="link">Hello World</a>
