Challenge: Learn HTML by Building a Cat Photo App - Step 12

Link to the challenge:

You’ve got two “cat photos” in the p element, one that is not a link and one that is a link. You only want one of them and I think you want to keep the one that is a link, right

Let’s don’t hijack other people’s topics to discuss problems with the instructions. You can open up a new topic under Contributors if you have ideas about how to make the instructions better.

Right all i see is ass hole reply with out step by step instructions we are not on the same level as most are pls be more direct

Tried it this way doesn’t work it sat check for spaces and etc
.im starting to think its the website after i see so many ppl stuck on this one part

When you try something new and it doesn’t work then you’ll want to paste your new HTML in here so we can see what you did. To display your code in here you need to wrap it in triple back ticks. On a line by itself type three back ticks. Then on the first line below the three back ticks paste in your code. Then below your code on a new line type three more back ticks. The back tick on my keyboard is in the upper left just above the Tab key and below the Esc key.

You were very close on the first try. As I mentioned, you have two “cat photos” in the p element, one that is a link and one that is not. You only want one of them to be in the p element. The one that is a link.

As the person that asked it should be direct towards me but thanks but if its a set website and tutorial it should say that… even when you explained it still confusing it should also explain the space usage if its going to be that complex

A lot of people definitely have trouble with this step, so you are not alone. And the fact that so many people struggle with this step probably means that the instructions need to be rewritten so they are easier to understand. If I can ask, what exactly did you not understand in the instructions. Be as specific as possible. Your feedback might help make these instructions better.

This is where im stuck. At if you can see the image upload but this is also one of many different inputs at this point
