Where am I going wrong? I surrounded “cat photos” with an opening and closing a tag.

Remember, a tag always starts with < and ends with >. I think you are missing one of these on your opening <a> tag. If you can see the different colors in the editor you should see that “cat photos” is red instead of black like it should be. This is the editor telling you that you have a mistake.

Also, after you fix the link in the p element, you need to delete the link below the p element.
