Describe your issue in detail here.

Hello,

I’ve searched for a couple of answers to avoid having to ask on the forum, and I thought my code looked good, but It seems I’m missing something. Can someone take a look? I’m attempting to wrap the “a href” attribute around “cat photos.” to create a link.

Thank you in advance.

Your code so far

<html>
  <body>
    <main>
      <h1>CatPhotoApp</h1>
      <h2>Cat Photos</h2>
      <!-- TODO: Add link to cat photos -->
      <p>Click here to view more <a href="https://freecatphotoapp.com">cat photos.</a></p>
      <a href="https://freecatphotoapp.com">link to cat pictures</a>
      <img src="https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/cat-photo-app/relaxing-cat.jpg" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back.">
    </main>
  </body>
</html>

Welcome to our community!
The instruction says: “… turn the words cat photos into a link…” But not the dot at the end of the sentence:

<p>First part of the text <a href="URL">cat photos</a>.</p>

As you can see the dot goes between the closing ‘a’ and ‘p’ tags.

This solved my problem, thank you for your help!
