Challenge: Learn HTML by Building a Cat Photo App - Step 12

Link to the challenge:

hi there, I see you posted some code but did you have a question?

I have done the some thing as in your post but still not correct . But then I’ve check if any typo, I’m confused.

do you mean this is the code you have tried to change?
So far you have deleted the closing tag for the paragraph which is not what is needed.

What else have you tried?

In the text of your p element, turn the words cat photos into a link to https://freecatphotoapp.com by adding opening and closing anchor (a ) tags around these words.
This is how it’s supposed to be if I’m correct

<p>See more cat photos in our gallery.
      <a href="https://freecatphotoapp.com">cat photos</a></p>

I’ve edited your code for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (').

If you read again the description of the requirement it says “-turn- the words cat photos into a link”
Notice it does not say “-add- the words cat photos”

To ‘turn’ means to change in this context.

Originally this exercise had this paragraph which was showing in plain text in the preview pane

See more cat photos in our gallery.

So to ‘turn’ the words cat photos into a link you must not add any more ‘cat photos’ rather you should use the anchor tag around the 3rd and 4th words in the sentence to make them become clickable.
