I am stuck on item 12. I have tried putting an anchor around the words “cat Photos” <a cat photos to generate a link to cat photos but its not working. what am I doing wrong?

Thats not how the anchor tag is supposed to be structured. You are missing the href in the element. The href is what is going to be your url to direct the user to a different area on the page or a different website when its clicked on. Take the line of code below the line of code you are working on as an example

 <a href="https://freecatphotoapp.com">link to cat pictures</a>

Notice how this anchor tag has a href? Then after the href comes the text for the link. So in this example, “link to cat pictures” is the text that is linked. Use this as an example for your line of code
