Tell us what’s happening:
The instructions are not clear enough for me, the details do not tell you where to put the code surrounding the link. More specific detailing is required for me

Your code so far

  <body>
    <main>
      <h1>CatPhotoApp</h1>
      <h2>Cat Photos</h2>
      <!-- TODO: Add link to cat photos -->
      <p>See more <a> href="https://freecathotospp.com"> cat photos in our gallery.</p>

Challenge: Learn HTML by Building a Cat Photo App - Step 12

Link to the challenge:

So the instructions say " In the text of your p element, turn the words cat photos into a link to https://freecatphotoapp.com by adding opening and closing anchor (a ) tags around these words."

Meaning your link needs to go around only the words “cat photos”

You are close here, but you do not have a closing tag for your anchor element. You need to put your closing anchor tag in a place where nothing else but “cat photos” is surrounded by the anchor tags.

You also need to put the href in the opening tag of your anchor element as right now its on the outside, and you need to fix the link inside your href

I think it would be beneficial for you to go back and look how the anchor tag needs to be set up, and this should give you an idea of how to surround the text for the challenge as well
