I don’t understand howto format step 12. I need help solving it.

I would recommend you restart the step to get the original HTML back. You do not want to change anything that is already there. The only thing you want to do is add an opening and closing a tag to turn the words “cat photos” into a link.

Remember, do not change anything that is already there. Just add the two a tags.
