Learn HTML by Building a Cat Photo App - Step 12

Tell us what’s happening:
Describe your issue in detail here.

I’m trying to link the Cat photos text by anchoring the text within the p element but it’s saying that I am not referencing it to the the freecatphotoapp link below. What am I doing wrong?

Your code so far

<html>
  <body>
    <main>
      <h1>CatPhotoApp</h1>
      <h2>Cat Photos</h2>
      <!-- TODO: Add link to cat photos -->

<!-- User Editable Region -->

      <p>See more
        **<a cat photos</a>**
         in our gallery.</p>
      <a href="https://freecatphotoapp.com">link to cat pictures</a>

<!-- User Editable Region -->

      <img src="https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/cat-photo-app/relaxing-cat.jpg" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back.">
    </main>
  </body>
</html>

Hello!
There are a few problems:

  1. You didn’t close the first <a> tag
  2. You’re missing the href attribute
  3. The tags should wrap the text that needs a link.

Your result should look similar to your “link to cat pictures below”

I’m quite new to this as well, hopefully this helps!

Hello!
As mentioned by Buggie using

for a reference on how to anchor the words cat photos within the existing text in the p element could help you.

I suggest resetting the step and only adding the anchors on each side of the two words. Do not remove or change anything else. Just add your anchors as you did with the included quote from your code.
Happy coding!
