Hi @canadianpatriot

Here is the error message:

The link’s href value should be https://freecatphotoapp.com . You have either omitted the href value or have a typo.

The opening anchor tag is missing the href attribute and value.
You also need to close the anchor tag with a closing angular bracket.

Make sure there are no spaces between the opening anchor tag and the word cat.
Also no spaces between the closing anchor tag and the word photos.

Happy coding

In the requirements it says:

Step 12 Passed

You can turn any text into a link, such as the text inside of a p element.

<p>I think <a href="https://www.freecodecamp.org">freeCodeCamp</a> is great.</p>

In the text of your p element, turn the words cat photos into a link by adding opening and closing anchor (a) tags around these words. Then set the href attribute to https://freecatphotoapp.com

Take a look at the example given:

<p>I think <a href="https://www.freecodecamp.org">freeCodeCamp</a> is great.</p>

Notice how the text freeCodeCamp is surrounded by an anchor starting with the open <a> and closing with </a> after the text. Do the same with the text cat photos, substituting what you shows us here and making sure that the href= is properly declared inside the opening
