Do anchor elements need a closing tag ?

Hi,
i’ve removed the closing tag, i’m still getting the same error message

But, do anchor elements need a closing tag?

(If unsure, ask yourself this, without a closing tag, how does the browser understand which word and/or sentence to make clickable?)

Also please remove the angled bracket > here as it is breaking the code (alt is an attribute so it needs to be inside an opening img tag)
