Please stop hyjacking other peoples topics. Please use the Ask For Help button.

You broke this anchor element. The instructions did not ask you to change this anchor element at all.

I do not see a new anchor element around the img element.

i have added the anchor now but its still not proceeding

Please share your updated code. I can’t say anything about code that I cannot see.

I’ve edited your code for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (').

You stuck the anchor element inside of the img tag. That cannot work. You cannot put one tag inside of another.

<a target="_blank" href="https://freecatphotoapp.com">cat photos</a>

This is the anchor element that you wrote that turns the text ‘cat photos’ into a link. You need an anchor element just like this one, but with an img inside instead of text.

so, did i have to eliminate the first anchor, because its saying that i only need to have one anchor

This one line is the only thing in the editable region

<img src="https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/cat-photo-app/relaxing-cat.jpg" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back.">

You should edit absolutely nothing outside of the editable region.

You should only add one opening anchor (a ) tag. Please remove any extras

This is the reply im getting

What is your latest code? All of it.
