Challenge: Learn HTML by Building a Cat Photo App - Step 14

Link to the challenge:

you don t have to put there another link just set target to _blank within the link that you have created. you have to put it inside of the first <a>
before or after href.

This is a href attribute set equal to a URL

This is a src attribute

This is an alt attribute

You set a target attribute the same way.

im still not getting it

you put target blank in the same place you put href or next to it if href is there

Can you be more specific?

What have you tried?

We aren’t allowed to write the answer for you, so its much, much easier if you show what you have tried.

<a _target="blank"> i’ve tried putting this in front of the href , before the p element and even after the link . this is what it tells me every time Your p element should have a nested anchor (a ) element with the text cat photos . You may have deleted it or have a typo.

hey Jeremy what does Organic Compiler means are you like an admin here?

Do you have any updated code. Any Changes you have done that we can see and try to help you out with?

That’s close, but you need target set to _blank, not _target set to blank.

I’ve edited your code for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (').

I think instead of putting it into your past link you have created another one but i can t tell bcs i don t see your code

If you have a question about a specific challenge as it relates to your written code for that challenge and need some help, click the Ask for Help button located on the challenge (it looks like a question mark). This button only appears if you have tried to submit an answer at least three times.

The Ask for Help button will create a new topic with all code you have written and include a link to the challenge also. You will still be able to ask any questions in the post before submitting it to the forum.

Thank you.
