Learn HTML by Building a Cat Photo App - Step 14

I’m not understanding what my hint means or what is wrong with my code.
Hint: Your p element should have a nested anchor (a ) element with the text cat photos . You may have deleted it or have a typo.

Your code so far

<html>
  <body>
    <main>
      <h1>CatPhotoApp</h1>
      <h2>Cat Photos</h2>
      <!-- TODO: Add link to cat photos -->

<!-- User Editable Region -->

      <p>See more <a href="https://freecatphotoapp.com">cat photos</a> in our gallery.</p>

<!-- User Editable Region -->

      <img src="https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/cat-photo-app/relaxing-cat.jpg" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back.">
    </main>
  </body>
</html>

Challenge: Learn HTML by Building a Cat Photo App - Step 14

Link to the challenge:

What lesson are you on? The code you have in the user editable region is for step 12 but your post and link to the challenge say step 14

It says I’m on step 14

Step 14

Add a target attribute with the value _blank to the anchor (a) element’s opening tag, so that the link opens in a new tab.

Ahh I see. I think im thinking about the the next step. Thats why it looks weird to me. Anyway, did you have a question about the challenge or something we can make more clear.

I’m not sure what the target attribute or how to add the value, I’ve tired

See more <a_blank href=“https://freecatphotoapp.com”>cat photos in our gallery.

but it didn’t work and don’t know how to solve this.

So you want to add the target attribute, and then the blank would be the value. You can follow this structure

<element attribute=“value>

Element would be your a tag. You just have to fill in the other two spots.
