The directions say

Add a target attribute with the value _blank

Do you remember how to add an attribute to an element?

sadly not, i just don’t know which one is the opening tag

So you want to add the target attribute, and then the blank would be the value. You can follow this structure

<element attribute=“value>

Element would be your a tag. You just have to fill in the other two spots.

just to be sure, is the attribute the href?

Its one of them, but its also going to be target. So you would use target after the href and then set target to be blank
