You need to reset the lesson. You added some unnecessary things in the code that should not be there. After you reset the lesson you can look at this for the target attribute

Here the instructions is saying you to convert the text cat photos into link.

So to convert any text into link we just do such things. like

<a href="link">Hello World</a>

See this how we can turn our text Hello World.
Second we add target value to blank so that our link will get new tab.

So we add its value in anchor tag. like

<a href=link target="its value">Text</a>

Here you no need the anchor tag becoz you have nothing to do with.
