I am confused with this lesson because I kind of don’t understand the target blank element because it’s confusing and I’ve tried but it’s just confusing

you almost got it right but you need an equal sign between the word target and the quote on the right.
You can also add one space between the word target and the quote on the left.

The target attribute tells the browser whether you want the URL to be opened in the same tab or a new tab (or somewhere else).
