It looks like you started placing the anchor element inside the img element.
Please reset the step to restore the original code, then place the opening anchor tag before the img element, and the closing anchor tag after the img element.
Don’t forget to include the href attribute in the opening anchor tag.
The structure will be similar to step 12 where you turned text into a clickable link.
This portion of the course is teaching you how to embed a link in an image by using an anchor element. When you use an anchor in html, the opening and closing anchor tags go around the element you’re using as the link (which in this case, is the photo of the cat).
You have the right idea in your code, but the structure is out of order, here’s an example of what a properly formatted anchor would look like:
