Learn HTML by Building a Cat Photo App - Step 15

it keeps on giving me this error
Your anchor (a ) element should have an opening tag. Opening tags have this syntax: <elementName> .

<html>
  <body>
    <main>
      <h1>CatPhotoApp</h1>
      <h2>Cat Photos</h2>
      <!-- TODO: Add link to cat photos -->
      <p>See more <a target="_blank" href="https://freecatphotoapp.com">cat photos</a> in our gallery.</p>

Challenge: Learn HTML by Building a Cat Photo App - Step 15

Link to the challenge:

You don’t appear to have an opening anchor tag, only a closing tag.

<img src="https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/cat-photo-app/relaxing-cat.jpg"<a href="https://freecatphotoapp.com" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back."></a>

You appear to have attempted to add an opening anchor tag in the middle of your <img> element.
Remove the <a href="https://freecatphotoapp.com" from there and put it before the <img> element. Then make sure you close off that opening anchor tag with a >.

HI @irungu ,
When you need to turn some elements (possible elements) into hyperlinks, wrap the “element” with anchor tags.
For example,

<a href=".....com"> <some_elem> </a>

Here, <some_elem> becomes a hyperlink.
Likewise, you can turn an image into a link!

<a href=“https://freecatphotoapp.com

still not passing?

<a href=“https://freecatphotoapp.com”

This is not a valid tag, because it is missing > at the end.
