What I have posted above is the area I’m having issue with ( wrapping an image in anchor tags) I feel like I have tried it various different ways but to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to our community!

Close the opening <a> tag with an angle bracket >, and move the closing </a> tag at the end of the line (after the img element).

Much appreciated! Glad to be here!

This is what I tried to do and it still says it’s incorrect?

 <a href="https://freecatphotoapp.com"><img src="https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/cat-photo-app/relaxing-cat.jpg" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back."</a>

The hint it gives states : You should only add one opening anchor (a ) tag. Please remove any extras.

Now, you didn’t close the ‘img’ element. As you can see, before </a> tag you have forgotten to add the closing angle bracket > of the ‘img’ element:

... its back."</a>
