Describe your issue in detail here.

I don’t have a clue what I’m doing wrong. The hint says " You should only add one opening anchor (a ) tag. Please remove any extras." but I only have 1 opening anchor tag.
Your code so far

<html>
  <body>
    <main>
      <h1>CatPhotoApp</h1>
      <h2>Cat Photos</h2>
      <!-- TODO: Add link to cat photos -->
      <p>See more <a target="_blank" href="https://freecatphotoapp.com">cat photos</a> in our gallery.</p>

Challenge: Learn HTML by Building a Cat Photo App - Step 15

Link to the challenge:

You’ve forgotten to add the closing </a> tag after the image.

I’ve added at the end of the img and alt to the img, but now the hint is saying this; Your anchor (a ) element should link to https://freecatphotoapp.com . You have either omitted the URL or have a typo.

Hmm, strange.

This works for me:

<a href="https://freecatphotoapp.com"><img src="https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/cat-photo-app/relaxing-cat.jpg" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back."></a>

I do find that sometimes in the editor, I need to remove all (correct) code I’ve written and re-do it for it to work. Maybe try copying the code in this post and replacing what you currently have in your editor?

Thank you. just copied and pasted and it worked. Don’t know what was wrong with mine because it was identical. Much appreciated.
